properly refused to submit lesser offense of first degree "heat of passion" manslaughter, and properly excluded defendant's
proffered rebuttal testimony; although defendant did not preserve other claims of trial error, we nonetheless address those
claims and hold that no error occurred. Evidence was sufficient to support jury's determination that defendant committed first degree premeditated murder and knew
the nature of his act and that it was wrong.
